Chris Billings is a lifelong builder, business owner, and job creator who understands that strong communities are built through hard work, responsible management, and forward-thinking leadership. As a candidate for Stephens County Assessor, Chris brings decades of real-world experience managing businesses, creating jobs, investing locally, and making complex decisions that require accuracy, fairness, and accountability.

Chris is the founder of Duncan Machine Products, Inc., a respected advanced manufacturing company known for precision machining, innovation, and cutting-edge technology. Since launching the company in 2007, he has grown it into a recognized industry leader serving customers both inside and outside Oklahoma. Through that success, Chris has helped bring millions of outside dollars annually into Stephens County through manufacturing contracts, industrial partnerships, and regional economic activity.

Beyond manufacturing, Chris has built and managed successful businesses across multiple industries, giving him firsthand experience with property values, operations, taxation, compliance, and the importance of efficient government services.

He is the owner of 5B Aviation, which owns and operates the Fixed Base Operations at Duncan Municipal Airport. Under Chris’s leadership, 5B Aviation provides aircraft maintenance, aviation fuel, pilot services, rentals, instruction, simulator training, and aviation support that helps connect Stephens County to business and economic opportunities across the region.

Chris also founded 5B Production, an oil and gas company which gave hands-on experience in one of Oklahoma’s most important industries. His work in energy has given him practical insight into mineral interests, land values, equipment assets, and the economic drivers that impact local tax rolls.

In agriculture, Chris owns and operates 5B Ranch, a commercial Black Angus cow/calf operation rooted in the values of stewardship, discipline, and long-term planning. Ranching has reinforced his appreciation for land ownership, responsible valuation, and the realities facing rural property owners.

Throughout his career, Chris has earned a reputation for challenging outdated systems and improving the way things are done. He is widely known for promoting innovation, efficiency, and common-sense solutions rather than accepting “that’s how it has always been.”

Just as important, Chris believes success comes with responsibility. He has consistently supported local causes, invested in the community, and contributed his time and resources to organizations and efforts that strengthen Stephens County.
